Visual hierarchy principle, is an arrangement of elements in a way that implies importance. In other words, hierarchy influences the order in which our eye chooses to look at presented design elements. Hierarchy can manifest itself in many visual ways such as in scale, colour, contrast, space, alignment, shape and form.
